The Entrepreneur Program Summer 2014 has been designed to provide University of the Arts and Drexel University’s Westphal and Close students and alumni an opportunity to invent careers that are not dependent on the traditional rules established for creative artists, as well as to provide them an opportunity to test ideas they have developed while in school.
Participation is competitive and open to six graduating seniors selected from Westphal and Close and six seniors, graduate students, or alumni selected from UArts.
A nine-part series giving makers tools to sell their products through multiple channels. The series can be taken as individual workshops or as a whole. Participants may apply to show their work in the d&mShop (administered by the Westphal Design & Merchandising Program) at Drexel University for the 2014 holiday season.
